Very Unusual Little Houseplant Looks Like Forest Glen Habitant

This all started with one of those 99 cent store houseplants.  You know the ones.  The pink/white variegated on green leaves.  Very ordinary.  We bought it and it turned into THIS!
You can see the outer leaves (which were the original plant) have turned into vines and have flowered.  As the plant spread, a tiny fuzzy pink baby formed, protected, in the very center.

The pink fuzzy ¨baby¨ has become the main plant now and it´s parent plant continues to vine and flower like crazy.  This plant is absolutely a wonderment and totally gorgeous. I don´t know the name or where it comes from but I picture a woodland with a cool glade and this beautiful creature right in the center.
